The Moon Series are inspired by a beautiful full moon on a night with fast moving clouds and trees nearby. Ever since that night, I watch for interesting moonlit evenings and think about what to say about the moonlit sky. These multi-media paintings combine watercolor, oil pastel and ink.

These are sky drawings from different settings. We have had the privilege of going on a number of cruises. Some days the early morning and time of sunset are glorious, with a big sky changing color many times and clouds moving around to form different patterns. These are quick drawings on the scene and a good topic for future paintings. These multi-media paintings combine watercolor, oil pastel and ink. They are 11” by 14”.
